The US agent I’d spoken to in New York a while back emailed me last night to tell me he’d seem my pics in the Mark Fast show, which was really lovely. He said I looked great but again would need to put on a few inches for him to be able to represent me. It still seems crazy that there is such a small band with which you can model at nowadays; either super tiny or this very specific band of bigger (ie big but not too big).
Women come in all different shapes and sizes so surely models should? I mean I’m all for model being an example of the best type of body but couldn’t we have it so it was the best at a variety of different sizes? Women can be beautiful at a range of weights and shapes surely?
It is especially baffling to me that someone of my size is either too thin or not thin enough!
